Welcome
Some of the local attractions are:
- Tour the historic Hinckley Fire Museum and discover our heritage.
- Bicycle the beautiful Willard Munger State Trail. This state trail, which begins in Hinckley and ends in Duluth, is an all-season trail. In summer months, historic bluffs beckon bikers and in-line skaters along this 70-mile asphalt trail whose southern terminal is in Hinckley. In the winter the snow-covered trail, along with another 400 miles of trails in the county, is carefully groomed by local snowmobile clubs and enjoyed by all.
- Enjoy nature’s beauty at one of the area’s (4) State Parks. Nature lovers will have a great time in the scenic parks and rivers around Hinckley. Due east 15 miles on Highway 48, you’ll find St. Croix State Park, which is noted for its 217 campsites with 24 miles of beautiful frontage on the St. Croix River. This all-season park is one of Minnesota’s largest with 33,000 acres that attract over 200,000 visitors annually. It’s a must-see!
- Stop downtown for an afternoon of fun and unique shopping.
- Play a relaxing round of golf at Grand National Golf Course. Grand National Golf Club is one of the most beautiful 18-hole championship courses in Minnesota. Ponds, marshes, and creeks add to the challenge and beauty of this course. At over 6,900 yards from the black tees, what better reason for staying more than a day in Hinckley!
- Experience thrills and gaming excitement at the Grand Casino.
- Relax…Have Fun!
