For paddling adventures, the Kettle and St. Croix Rivers provide exciting canoeing and kayaking, especially through the rapids at Banning State Park. Fishing is also popular, with the St. Croix and Kettle Rivers and nearby lakes like Pokegama, Cross, and Big Pine offering walleye, trout, bass, and muskies.
