Sandstone Ice Festival celebrates the best of winter adventure sports from ice climbing to skinny skiing, winter camping and shoe shoeing.
It is a perfect gathering for those who share a love for all things cold and like to embrace winter.
The festival has been drawing people from around the Midwest USA and Canada to ice climb here since 2005..
Need to know
Participants at the festival must have previous climbing experience.
Did you know?
Robinson Park is open to the public for climbing year-round. Ice climbing usually begins in early December (or when the temperature drops so it’s cold enough for ice!)
